Why I Like Dentistry:
Being a Dental Hygienist is what I always wanted
to do! I loved going to the dentist as a child
and thought it was the coolest job. In high
school, I excelled in the sciences and was
looking forward to applying my love of science
in college,. I have always been drawn to
people’s smiles and thought it would be
rewarding to help people feel better about
themselves and to keep their smile healthy

Why I Like Dentistry: I love many
things about Dentistry, one of which is getting
to know our patients; learning about their
families, their interests, vacations and special
moments in their lives makes the relationship we
have special.
My favorite part, however,
is having the opportunity to take part in
transforming people’s smiles. Almost everyday we
encounter those who either refuse to smile or
cover their mouths because they are so self
conscious about their appearance. Seeing our
patients leave with a new self image is most
